Examined the relationship between personality and psychopathology using the Multivariate Personality Inventory (MPI) (N=100). Results showed significant differences among groups, which indicates that the personality groups as defined by the MPI in a normal population perform as would be predicted from work with pathological groups. Results indicate that pre-flight students and college males of the same age range differ on several aspects of novelty and sensation seeking and that in both samples studied, the variables are relatively independent of measured ability and academic course performance. (Author/DEP)

Jensen (1991) have not demonstrated that a factor of general intelligence ("g") depends on several independent factors.
