The predictive validity of the American College Test (ACT) for two classes totaling 2,289 students was investigated at successive intervals over four years of college. This study investigated differences between students living in expanded-occupancy quarters (three per room) and in normal-occupancy conditions (two per room) in regard to their satisfaction with residence hall life and grade point average.
