Innes, Thomas C. – Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, 1971
It is suggested that funders revise the manner in which accountability is determined regarding both program superiority and the way in which special school programs are evaluated. In any alternative mode of showing accountability, preoccupation with dollars and amount learned should not take precedence over humaneness in the classroom. (Author)

Van Riper, B. W. – Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, 1974

Crites, John O. – Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, 1974
The author discusses three methodological obstacles to the effective measurement of career maturity. These are: (1) linear versus nonlinear time functions; (2) longitudinal versus cross-sectional developmental data collection designs; and (3) maturational versus error variance on the estimation of test-retest reliability. (RP)

Moore, James C. – Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, 1971
Subjects received self instruction on how to approach analogy questions. Instruction was directed toward knowledge of the general format of analogy questions in standarized tests and the 15 types of relationships commonly asked for in analogy questions. An analogies post-test showed a significant effect for the group. (Author)

Johnson, Richard W.; Thomas, W. F. – Measurement and Evaluation in Guidance, 1973
The feasability of using the College Qualification Test (CQT) to predict scores on the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) is supported by a multiple regression analysis conducted among freshmen at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. (Author)
