The relationship of sex role acceptance to actual and desired fertility was assessed in a sample of female college students and women's organization members. Multiple regression analysis indicated that behavioral measures of sex role acceptance accounted for more variance in predicting desired fertility than did the Bem Sex Role Inventory. (Author/WI)
