Scholastic aptitude and achievement records of 954 transfer students to the College of Engineering and 2,226 native engineering students were compared by sex, ethnicity, and school background. Generally, academic achievement of native students was supported over that of transfer students, with the exception of academic superiority of female transfer students. (Author/PN)
