Gender-Based Differences in Perception of Experiences in Higher Education: Gaining a Broader Perspective.
Drew, Todd L.; Work, Gerald G.
Journal of Higher Education, v69 n5 p542-55 Sep-Oct 1998
A study used the College Student Experiences Questionnaire database to examine whether a "chilly classroom climate" exists for women students in higher education, and if so, whether faculty behavior contributes to this environment. Results show female students were not experiencing this climate, and reported college experiences and gains equivalent to or exceeding those of men. (Author/MSE)
