Is It More Than about Getting Along? The Broader Educational Relevance of Reducing Students' Racial Biases.
Chang, Mitchell J.
Journal of College Student Development, v42 n2 p93-105 Mar-Apr 2001
Investigates the relationship between racial biases and educational experiences among undergraduate students (N=167) from a Northeastern university. From their responses to the College Student Experiences Questionnaire and the Modern Racism Scale, it was determined that reduced levels of racial prejudice were associated with enhancing students' ability to adapt successfully to change, along with their ability to develop values and ethics.
