Parents of 52 children with an intellectual disability completed a sleep questionnaire, the Developmental Behavior Checklist, and the Parenting Hassles Scale. Comparison with a control group and analysis showed that the presence of sleep problems was significantly associated with both the intensity and frequency of hassles and with the presence of behavior problems.
