College freshmen (N=80) who scored near the mean on the Extraversion (E) and Neuroticism (N) scales of the Eysenck Personality Inventory were given falsified score reports. The findings are considered in terms of social desirability and reaction to stereotypical female sex roles. (Author)

This article reports a number of findings resulting from the use of the Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPI) and a shortened form of the Leary Interpersonal Adjective Check List in the initial assessment of 100 excessive drinkers and their wives and of the readministration of the EPI 12 months later.
