Examines one aspect of the construct validity of vocational interest across Japanese and American cultures. Results based on two samples of college students (Japanese N=373; American N=401) indicated that the item structure was similar across cultures. Findings support the general structural similarity of interests in Japanese and American cultures. (RJM)
