Racial bias in the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) was investigated by comparing responses of Black and White compulsive heroin users on both empirically derived validity and clinical scales and intuitively constructed content scales. The Use of Moderator Variables in Predicting College Student Attrition.

Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) scale scores from two samples of students were analyzed to determine their usefulness in moderating the prediction of college attrition. Scales that functioned as moderator variables were sample-specific and did not replicate. (Author)
