Executive Educator, v17 n1 p18-24 Jan 1995
Certain personality characteristics will be required in tomorrow's classrooms. The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, based on Jung's psychological types, can help administrators make better hiring decisions. "Stabilizers" (traditionalists) presently dominate the teaching force. More risk-taking catalysts, visionaries, and troubleshooters will be needed, as teachers expand their roles to become motivators, mentors, counselors, and guides. A sidebar outlines Jungian typologies. (MLH)
