The Effects of the Yom Kippur War on Values of Israeli Female Students.

After the Yom Kippur War, 14 of the 18 values in the Rokeach Terminal Value Survey increased in importance for female Israeli students. Attitudes toward the war itself did not change. It is concluded that a distinction should be made between relative and absolute importance of values. (Author/CP)
