Experiential Learning at a Distance: Cloud Video Field Supervision

Field experience is singular and essential in the teacher education curriculum. Unfortunately, many preparation programs struggle with the logistical puzzle of providing timely and meaningful feedback and supervision to pre-service teachers. Cloud-video based supervision offers a solution. Sharing reflection notes through mutually viewed video of instructional performances could lead to more authentic self-reflection amongst pre-service teachers. This could more fully leverage the opportunities for learning in field experience. This investigation explored the outcomes of one deployment of this approach.
