Describes the development of a special set of tutorials for training nonnative English speakers to take a computerized test of English as a Foreign Language. The experiences of the 1169 individuals who participated in the computer-familiarity study are characterized in terms of timing and performance data and self-reported attitudes. Most examinees were successful in completing the practice items in the tutorials and thought the tutorials were helpful. (Author/VWL)
