Research was conducted among 58 5-6th grade gifted students in Seattle to test the following: their preferences for verbal vs. multi-sensory concept formation, whether non-verbal learners are primarily spatial in information processing, and the reliability of the Block Design subtest of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC) for identifying such children.
