This document presents the core science curriculum standards which must be completed by all students as a requisite for graduation from Utah's secondary schools. Contained within are the elementary and secondary school program of studies and high school graduation requirements. Each course entry for grades 7-12 contains: course title, unit of credit, prerequisites, course description, core standards of the course, and objectives. Course titles for grades 7-8 are: Life Science, Earth-Space, and Physical Science. Course titles for grades 9-12 are: Biological-Earth Science, Biology, Animal Science and Technology, Plant and Soil Science and Technology, Human Biology, Physical-Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Principles of Technology I.
