The book consists of six chapters. Chapter 1 defines teacher stress, explores stress symptoms, and describes how to create a personal stress profile. Chapter 2 suggests 30 areas of consideration for self-care, ranging from diet to leaving the teaching profession. Chapter 3 examines collegial support and administrative support as means for dealing with job stress. Chapter 4 looks at intellectual development as a means of personal growth to supplement stress management strategy. Chapter 5 focuses on growth of the inner self to enhance well-being.
