After-School Program Serves as Rallying Point
Hutto, Rodney
School Administrator, v62 n5 p24 May 2005
In this article, the author argues that as a school district, it is the educators duty to do whatever it takes to help their students succeed. Every project an educator undertakes is designed to meet their needs. He also states that a program's success depends on the support and input of administrators, the board of education, teachers and the community. With a firm mission to prepare students for the education process rather than remediate them later, the author looked to after-school programs as one way to address students' changing needs.
