This description of the origins, development, and procedures of the Black Women Oral History Project at the Schlesinger Library, Radcliffe College, highlights funding, preparations, interviews, editing and transcription, and distribution of transcripts. Also included is a brief history of "Women of Courage," a traveling photographic exhibition based on the project. (EJS)
