Technology and Gender: Or is John Gehl a Sexist? Or is EDUCOM from Mars and CAUSE from Venus?
McClure, Polley Ann
Educom Review, v33 n3 p12-15 May-Jun 1998
Argues that the uneven coverage of women's contributions to information technology in higher education is partly a result of a natural congruence of interests within and differences between genders. Discusses gender differences in psychology and suggests that differences in organizational culture and style conspicuous in EDUCOM and CAUSE result from male and female leadership. (PEN)
