Lavoie, Theresa
Exceptional Parent, v38 n5 p68-69 May 2008
Parents often are left wondering how to determine if their child's behaviors are "normal" or possibly diagnostic of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or other problems. This article presents a list of general guidelines that allow parents to determine the possibility of whether their children are experiencing either ADHD or a learning difference. This article also presents several ideas for parents on how they can know if their child is struggling with a learning difference either with or without ADHD. Lastly, important information about neuropsychological assessments is presented.
