The Adjective Generation Technique (AGT) was useful for counteracting the clinical bias prevalent among undergraduate psychology majors. It stimulated student discussion and provided quantifiable evidence to support the hypothesis that there are systematic differences in student perceptions of scientists and psychologists. (SR)
