Nonverbal IQ Tests Reflect Different Relations among Skills for Specifically Language-Impaired and Normal Children: Brief Report.
Swisher, Linda; Plante, Elena
Journal of Communication Disorders, v26 n1 p65-71 Apr 1993
This study examined patterns of nonverbal intelligence test performance of 11 preschool children with and 12 without specific language impairments. The study found group differences in relations among nonverbal cognitive skills. Results suggest caution in using nonverbal intelligence tests normed on nondisabled children with children having language impairments. (DB)
