It contains information sheets, worksheets, worksheet answers, a posttest, and posttest answers on correct procedures for decontaminating, assembling, and wrapping the medical instruments used for vaginal and abdominal hysterectomies. Appendixes to the module include a glossary, illustrations of procedures involved in preparing and wrapping for sterilization (using both the envelope and oblong wrapping methods), abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy count sheets, and a list of references and suggested readings.
