Getting Your Foot in the Door. IV. Overcoming Job Problems.
New York City Board of Education, Brooklyn, NY. Office of Occupational and Career Education.
This workbook is the fourth in a series of four student workbooks designed to prepare youth with the employability skills needed for the world of work. The four student workbooks contain all phases of employability skills in seven individual packages. This workbook on overcoming job problems includes two learning packages--one on opening closed doors and another on keeping a job. The writing, speech, and drama exercises are to be worked on privately, in class, or with friends and family. For many of the exercises, there are no right or wrong answers, only different ways of answering the same question. An added feature of the workbook is the key vocabulary words extracted from the text and repeated at the bottom of many of the pages. A bibliography is appended. (YLB)
