Hall, Susan M.
Step-by-step instructions for using the Appleworks word processing program are provided in this manual designed to introduce students at Saint Mary's University (Texas) to the use of word processing for writing papers in their courses. The five lessons cover the following topics: (1) facts about computers and the equipment needed to complete this module; (2) text entry and editing; (3) formatting and printing the text; (4) making major revisions; and (5) finishing touches such as underlining, indenting, superscripts, page breaks, and page numbering. It is noted that the university library makes this manual available to students, as well as the Appleworks software and the "Appleworks Reference Guide." (MES)
