Families in Canada: An Introduction. Teacher's Guide. Curriculum Series/50.
Eichler, Margrit; Bullen, Mary
The students' ability to analyze the world around them and the issues affecting their personal well-being and quality of life is the emphasis of this teacher's guide. The "Teacher's Notes" section lists the purpose and use for the glossary, questions through the text, suggested questions, and suggested activities found in the student's booklet. The "Ideas For Curriculum Development" section presents a number of general student behavioral objectives, issues, and ideas to supplement the seven chapters in the student booklet. The objectives may vary according to the nature of the students, their abilities, the subject area taught, and the teacher's overall presentation but can be adapted for use in most classrooms. (RSL)
