The final module of a seven module package for child protective service workers addresses management system skills necessary to maintain a volunteer parent aide program for abused and neglected children and their families. Four program activities center on the following: (1) listing what the agency will provide the volunteer; (2) developing guidelines for volunteer case assignments; (3) developing guidelines for the volunteer's first visit with the family; (4) developing a plan for supervising volunteers; and (5) outlining a volunteer support system. Included are directions for using the media package and questions for discussion. (SBH)
