Exploring the Psychology of White Racism through Naturalistic Inquiry.
D'Andrea, Michael; Daniels, Judy
Journal of Counseling & Development, v77 n1 p93-101 Win 1999
This paper reports results from sixteen years spent investigating White racism among White people using naturalistic inquiry methods. More than 1,200 observations of Whites of diverse backgrounds and locations were made. Five psychological dispositions are identified which characterize the way White people cognitively, affectively, and behaviorally respond to White racism. (Author/EMK)
