Introducing the Theory of Multiple Intelligences.
Hoerr, Thomas R.
NASSP Bulletin, v80 n583 p8-10 Nov 1996
From his work with brain-damaged patients, Howard Gardner developed a set of criteria for what determines intelligence. From these he identified seven intelligences, including linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, spatial, interpersonal, and intrapersonal capabilities. An eighth intelligence, the naturalistic ability to identify life forms, has recently been identified. (MLH)
