The Persistence of Employees Who Pursue Postsecondary Study.
Hudson, Lisa; Hurst, David
Education Statistics Quarterly, v4 n1 p33-36 Spr 2002
Examined educational expectations and persistence in postsecondary education among employed students who defined themselves as employees enrolled in school rather than as students working to meet expenses. Findings from the National Center for Education Statistics' Beginning Postsecondary Students Longitudinal Study suggest that such students do as well as their peers in persisting at and completing their postsecondary programs.
