Poverty and Behavior: The Case for Multiple Methods and Levels of Analysis.
Huston, Aletha C.; McLoyd, Vonnie C.; Coll, Cynthia Garcia
Developmental Review, v17 n3 p376-93 Sep 1997
Discusses limitations of using behavioral genetic methods for understanding the environmental effects of poverty. Socioeconomic status is a function of individual abilities, personality characteristics, economic and social-structure conditions, and available-opportunity structures. (Author)
