Marsh, Herbert W.; Bazeley, Patricia – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1999
Evaluated external assessor ratings of the quality of the research team and the proposed research for proposals submitted to the Australian Research Council large grants program. Data from 313 evaluations show that the reliability of the assessments varied systematically with the number of assessors and the score considered. Discusses implication…

Marsh, Herbert W.; And Others – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1992
Results of a reanalysis of previously published data (B. M. Byrne, 1989) support the correlated uniqueness model, diagnostic tests of the validity of confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), multitrait multimethod (MTMM) solutions, inclusion of external validity in MTMM design, and application of factorial invariance to test stability of CFA-MTMM…

Marsh, Herbert W.; Richards, Gary E. – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1987
The factorial structure of the Rotter Internal-External (IE) scale was examined. While there was strong evidence against the unidimensionality of the Rotter scale, the findings suggested that the first-order factors do define a single higher-order construct that may represent the generalized IE construct. Marsh, Herbert W. – Multivariate Behavioral Research, 1987
Masculinity and femininity were related to multiple dimensions of self-concept in responses from 962 high school students. It was found that masculinity and femininity each contributed positively and uniquely to the prediction of well-differentiated facets of self-concept. (Author/LMO)
