Investigated canonical relationship of the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised Verbal and Performance scales. Found relationship to be similar to that of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Revised, but less strong. Found two scales shared 46 percent of their variance. Results support independent interpretation of the Verbal and Performance scales. (Author/ABL)
