Age of Learning, Inc.
This report focuses on a 2023-2024 implementation of "My Reading Academy" at Epic Charter Schools in Oklahoma. "My Reading Academy" was first used with a small pilot group of students and educators at the charter school network in school year 2022-2023, and based on the initial positive results, the implementation of the program was expanded across the network in school year 2023-2024. Students who used "My Reading Academy" showed significantly higher achievement on the "Star Early Literacy"™ assessment in comparison to non-users, with 1st graders gaining about 2-2.5 months of additional literacy learning and 2nd graders gaining about 3-3.5 months of additional literacy learning.
