Until recently, the word "unprecedented" has been relatively dormant in the collective vocabulary of most school psychologists. However, this school year has been like no other, resulting in a unique training experience for many interns and practicum students. While some trainees have been able to practice a diverse set of skills, others may have had more limited exposure in some domains. As a new cohort of graduates prepares to transition from training to practice, Nationally Certified School Psychologists (NCSP) continues to promote mentorship as an effective and useful tool to support new and early career school psychologists. This brief article addresses some common questions about mentorship.
