The following information is reported or described: (1) conclusions and recommendations; (2) participating schools and cost summaries; (3) identification of eligible schools; (4) identification of instructional focus; (5) staff allocation; (6) school program planning; (7) identification of eligible students; (8) selection of participants; (9) elementary school evaluation results; (10) secondary school evaluation results; (11) study of sustained effects and longitudinal service; (12) comparison of APS and national Chapter 1 impact; and (13) additional Chapter 1 services. Appendices contain low income survey and resource allocation charts, and forms used to submit proposed changes in Chapter 1 programs.
