The new National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rule allowing student athletes in Division I schools to have part-time jobs during the school year offers students an opportunity to earn money, but may create monitoring headaches for athletic departments. Students will probably be steered toward campus jobs. Job income will not affect Pell Grant formulas or NCAA scholarship limits. (MSE)
