A Principal Components Analysis of the Rathus Assertiveness Schedule.

Investigated the adequacy of the Rathus Assertiveness Schedule (RAS) as a global measure of assertiveness. Analysis indicated that the RAS does not provide a unidimensional index of assertiveness, but rather measures a number of factors including situation-specific assertive behavior, aggressiveness, and a more general assertiveness. The Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scales: Standard Score Adjustments for Australian Children.

To develop Australian norms for the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (Survey Form), data for 600 children aged 5-9 years were assessed. Interviews were conducted with 589 of the subjects' parents.
