Follow-up Survey of High School Graduates in Harper District 1971 and 1972. Research Report Series, Vol. 4, No. 8.
William Rainey Harper Coll., Palatine, IL.
To determine the reasons for the declining enrollment of high school seniors at William Rainey Harper College, a survey was made of a random sample of 501 high school graduates, equally split between 1971 and 1972 graduates. Telephone calls elicited information on 447 students. The data collected showed that while lower percentages of the high school graduates were coming to Harper, higher percentages were enrolled in four-year colleges and proprietary schools. Higher percentages were also employed full-time. The data are provided in tables. An appendix is the survey instrument. (DB)
