This publication of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP) describes a project investigating employment and training in Greece, Spain, and Portugal. An introduction tells why CEDEFOP has given priority to those countries. The second section reports the project's examination of the textiles and ready-to-wear clothing sector. The third section reports on production and restructuring of that sector. The fourth section takes up the issues of restructuring and membership. Education is the subject of the fifth sector.
