The nature of the Soviet system of atheistic indoctrination is elaborated as an organic part of the entire process of teaching and upbringing, taught in all grades, in all subjects, and in all extracurricular and extra-school work. It is based on scientific criticism of religion, deduction, interdisciplinary study, militant student participation in clubs, individual work with students and parents, coordination of the school, family, and community, and teacher training.
