This document presents the report of the Task Force on Corrections and the Higher Education System in Wisconsin. Following introductory material, recommendations are suggested concerning jail programs, programs with inmates and staff within existing institutions, halfway houses, university structure and programs, preventive measures, and funding. Statistical data concerns sentenced offenders categorized by highest grade completed, achievement test and intelligence estimate, and a jail population report by county. A questionnaire form and reports related to correctional education are also included. (MJM)
