One of a series of children's books written from the point of view of an elementary grade child and concerning disabilities or other problems, the stories emphasize the similarities in childhood experience while providing information specific to the disability. In this book, the members of the fifth grade video club find out that their club sponsor has AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome).
