Devoted to articles on libraries in foreign countries, this issue of a quarterly journal focuses on how these libraries are using print and nonprint resources to serve their patrons. The structure and organization of these foreign library/media services are discussed, as well as their histories and the constraints that have shaped their services. An introductory article describes the International Association of School Librarianship, and the remaining 13 articles consider the libraries and media in 12 countries: Greece, Australia, Brazil, China, Japan, Iran, Pakistan, Portugal, Luxembourg, Austria, the Netherlands, and Sweden.
