This module is designed to teach the fundamentals of clean intermittent urinary catheterization for the disabled child, particularly in the school setting. The text includes information on proper hand washing techniques, the supplies needed, suggested settings, and the preparations required before and after the catheter is inserted into the bladder. The steps of clean intermittent urinary catheterization are listed in sequence to facilitate learning. The module is self-contained and was pretested on a select group of learners.
