Delineates promotional means by which librarians can stimulate the interest of potential users in microforms. A set of suggestions for making microforms accessible and attractive, using targeted displays and demonstrations, and utilizing media to publicize microform collections is presented. (Author/JL)

Suggests that microfilm storage areas can be more efficiently utilized if the unfilled spaces on microfilm reels are consolidated through splicing with microfilm from successive reels.
