This book provides an introduction to HyperCard, with the main focus being on communication and problem solving. The book covers most of the main features of HyperCard and includes a very brief introduction to HyperTalk. This book is specifically for people who want to move toward higher levels of HyperCard knowledge and skills. It is designed for use in a short course or workshop on communication and problem solving in a HyperCard environment; additional uses are as a supplementary text that emphasizes communication and problem solving within an extensive course on HyperCard and as a text in inservice and preservice teacher education settings. The book contains activities to help guide individuals through the process of journal writing, using the computer, and obtaining feedback.
