A study of 83 Australian adults with spinal cord injuries found that at least 56% had worked at some time post-injury and those who were working when surveyed had done so for an average of close to 10 years. Clerical, office, and administrative occupations proved to be the most suitable. (Author/CR)

Examined the nature and extent of sexual harassment for women (N=439) graduates from a college from 1945-1980. Responses to a questionnaire indicated that less than 40 percent of the participants had experienced behaviors relating to sexual harassment. Suggests response strategies to harassment. (RC)

A follow-up study of 60 nonworking persons with visual impairments who contacted a vision rehabilitation agency for vocational placement services over a five-year period found that the absence of other health or physical conditions and being unemployed one year or less were significant predictors of job-seeking behavior.
